Swap-free trading accounts explained
What a swap is, what swap-free means, and why both BBCorp account types are swap-free.

If you keep a trade open overnight, many brokers charge or pay a swap. A swap-free account removes that overnight charge.
What is a swap?
A swap, also called a rollover or overnight fee, is an amount added to or taken from a position held past the end of the trading day. It usually reflects the difference in interest rates between the two currencies in a pair, or the cost of financing a leveraged position.
What swap-free means
On a swap-free account, no overnight swap is charged on your positions, however long you hold them. Both BBCorp account types, Standard and Special, are swap-free.
Who swap-free accounts suit
- Traders who hold positions for days or weeks, where swaps would add up.
- Traders who prefer not to pay or receive interest.
- Anyone who wants simpler costs: the spread is the main cost of a trade.
What you still pay
Swap-free does not mean free. The spread, the difference between the buy and sell price, still applies to every trade. BBCorp’s accounts also charge no commission. Live spreads are on each market page, and the two accounts are compared side by side on Account types.
Open a swap-free account
- Open an account in the client portal and complete your identity check (KYC).
