How to log in to MetaTrader 5 (MT5) and fix login problems
Where to find your MT5 login number, password and server, how to log in on a computer or phone, and what to do when it fails.

To log in to MetaTrader 5 you need three details from the BBCorp client portal: your MT5 login number, your password and the server your account is on.
Where to find your details
Log in to the client portal and open your trading account. Your login number and server are shown there. If you have forgotten your trading password, you can reset it from the portal: see I forgot my trading account password.
Log in on a computer
- Open MetaTrader 5 on Windows or Mac. If you do not have it yet, read how to download MT5.
- Choose File, then Login to Trade Account.
- Enter your login number and password, choose the BBCorp server, and select Login.
Log in on your phone
- Open the MetaTrader 5 app and go to Settings, then New Account.
- Search for BBCorp and choose the server shown in your portal.
- Enter your login number and password, then sign in.
If you cannot log in
- Invalid account: check that you chose the same server as in your portal, and re-type your login number.
- Wrong password: passwords are case-sensitive. Reset your trading password from the portal if needed.
- Read-only account: you may have used the investor password, which can only view. Use the master password to trade. See master and investor passwords.
- No connection: check your internet, then choose the server again from the list.
